This morning we packed up some props and headed west to visit the unnamed Airstream. As we headed west the fog got thicker and it started to snow. Our two goals today were: 1. Be inspired to name the trailer 2. Take some Christmas photos We achieved one of our goals. Shadybrook is on lock down over the winter season - good for security, a challenge to walk in to the site with a lot of stuff! It was so quiet and peaceful at Shadybrook. The only footsteps were those of small animals on the road and in the campsites. Thankfully the bears are tucked away in their dens now. The dogs loved running freely! We did a little photoshoot inside and outside our Airstream and really enjoyed being outside on such a beautiful day. All is well with the unnamed trailer. Ned and Fred are looking a little rough (and white). And Ned (or Fred) has a rogue leg. We might have to call in the replacement wood pile security team in the spring. We noticed there were more trees cut down around Shadybrook. We stopped in at the Nine Iron Grill for lunch. They have delicious home made soup - today was potato bacon. Back at home we decided to try a new cocktail - sex on a snowbank. The review is here We still haven't settled on a name for the trailer. We have a short list of names below. If anyone reads this post and wants to weigh in, we'd love to hear your thoughts on these names or others.
The shortlist: Flo, Mindy, Sophie, Flora, Portia, Dot (or Dottie). We wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and a year of adventure!
